These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of digital products sold through Cognitive Counterplay (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing our website or purchasing any digital product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase or use our products.

1. Digital Products

Cognitive Counterplay sells downloadable digital products, including ebooks, guides, and written materials (“Digital Products”). All products are delivered electronically. No physical items are shipped.

2. Payment & Checkout

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors, including Stripe and PayPal.

We do not store or have access to your full payment card information.

Prices are listed in AUD unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes or duties required in your jurisdiction.

3. Delivery

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to your Digital Product via email delivery or a download link provided at checkout.

It is your responsibility to enter a valid email address.

Please check your spam or junk folder before contacting us regarding non-delivery.

Download links may expire after a limited time, so we recommend saving your file immediately after purchase.

4. Refund Policy (Digital Goods)

Due to the nature of instant-access digital products, all sales are final.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that the product is delivered immediately and is not eligible for return except where required by law.

We do not offer refunds or returns once a Digital Product has been delivered or downloaded, except where required under applicable consumer protection laws.

Refunds may be considered only in cases of:

  • Duplicate purchase

  • Technical failure preventing access (that cannot be resolved by our support team)

  • Incorrect product delivery

5. License & Permitted Use

When you purchase a Digital Product, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use it for your own personal purposes.

You may NOT:

  • Share, resell, redistribute, or reproduce the product

  • Upload it to file-sharing sites or public forums

  • Use it for commercial resale, distribution, or training without explicit written permission

Violation may result in termination of access and legal action.

6. Intellectual Property

All content sold or displayed by Cognitive Counterplay — including ebooks, branding, logos, and written materials — is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You do not acquire ownership of any content by purchasing a Digital Product.

7. No Guarantees or Professional Advice

All Digital Products are provided for educational and informational purposes only.

We do not guarantee any specific financial, psychological, professional, or personal outcomes.

Nothing sold constitutes professional advice, including legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice.

You are solely responsible for your actions and results.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the website or products, including attempting to:

  • Commit fraud or chargeback abuse

  • Access restricted areas without authorization

  • Copy, exploit, or redistribute content unlawfully

Fraudulent chargebacks may result in evidence being submitted to Stripe and relevant payment providers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cognitive Counterplay is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the Digital Products.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Digital Product purchased.

10. Consumer Law Rights (Australia)

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

If a product is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a remedy under applicable law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or products constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes will be handled in the appropriate Australian courts.
