Cognitive Counterplay sells downloadable digital products, including ebooks, guides, and other written materials (“Digital Products”).

This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be provided.

1. Digital Products Are Final Sale

Due to the nature of instant-access digital goods, all sales are generally final.

Once a Digital Product has been delivered or downloaded, it cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded except where required by law.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that you are receiving immediate access to digital content.

2. Exceptions — When Refunds May Be Granted

Refunds may be considered in the following limited cases:

  • Duplicate Purchase
    You accidentally purchased the same product more than once.

  • Technical Delivery Failure
    You did not receive the file or download link and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time.

  • Incorrect Product Delivered
    You were sent the wrong digital product.

In these cases, please contact us and we will work quickly to correct the issue or issue a refund where appropriate.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Failure to read the product description before purchase

  • Inability to use the product due to unsupported software or device

  • Purchases made by mistake (other than duplicate transactions)

  • Unauthorized sharing or redistribution of the product

4. Consumer Rights (Australia)

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If a product is faulty, not as described, or does not function as reasonably expected, you may be entitled to a remedy under applicable law.

  • Your full name

  • The email address used at checkout

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or transaction confirmation)

  • A short description of the issue

We aim to respond within 1–2 business days.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback.

Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may be disputed with Stripe and payment providers using transaction and delivery evidence.
